Well, on Friday, Otober 10th, Z had his first birthday. There was no cake, there were no party balloons, no smash cake, no presents from his parents. Does he care? Nope. We did take him out to dinner though with a friend of mine. We decided to go to our local GC, well 'cause it's inexpensive and with four kids at home, that's what you gotta do. We went at a pretty good time , we thought, but we chose the wrong section to sit in! Hubby had go up and get his drink refilled (she filled B's drink twice before she could even really drink any) and would overlook Tony's dirty plates. But the icing on the cake, so to speak, was that she was oblivious to the "My 1st birthday" hat on Z's head and the "It's my 1st birthday" bib that he had on!!!!!! We sat around a little bit chatting, HOPING that she was just going to show up and sing with the others. NOPE. As we were packing up all the kids (2 teens and 4 toddlers), she was surprised that I said it was his birthday. Well we said something when we sat down, duh. (She only got a $4 tip from us anyway)
We are going to make him a cake tomorrow and let him smash one too. For pics at least. A woke up and is having issues so if this doesn't make sense that's why...... Later!
