Midnight Ramblings

Well, after midnight on a Friday night! lol The older kids are at the "other" parent's homes, the two younger kids are sleeping in their appointed rooms and I can hear the hubby in the den snoring. Me? I am in my workshop. Was busily working on creating hairbows for a bow swap. Mind has been racing lately. Thought of all kinds of topics that I could talk about but, alas, time to type means all thoughts are gone.......

Decided this week that there should be a resturant named IDK, IDC. We would eat there about 5 times a week if my kids had the choice! lol I Don't Know, I Don't Care would serve a multitude of items so that everyone would be happy..... Oh, wait a minute..... Isn't it called Golden Corral? At least around here it is.

I don't know when my DD grew up, but she seems to have. Or at least she wants to be. Not trying to get into all the minute details but apparently, it's common for thirteen year old girls to get X-rated bulletins on MySpace....... Oh, and x-rated pictures of guys from chat rooms. What boils me the most though is that it seems that no matter how much you try to keep the lines of communication open with your kids, they will slam that door right in your face. Well, the parent's won in the end, let me tell you. She now has no accounts with ANY social sites, no IM, no texting and unless she is babysitting somewhere where there is no home phone, no cell phone either. She's been sulking around the house and having a realitivly bad attitude, but it's really not been too different from her normal self, lol.

Took DS to school last night to get his band instrument. He will be part of the percussion!!!! YIPEEE, not. I did get a great big hug though, haven't gotten a good one of those in a long time. And how does he repay me this morning? By arguing and fighting with his siblings. Well the girls at least.

At Least......... A popular word or phrase tonight....... I am getting tired now. Z will be waking up soon I am sure. I love the fact that I can nurse him in bed and not really have to wake up. I also love getting to wake up in the morning to him next to me and snuggling when Daddy is at work. He can wake up in some good moods. Don't get me wrong either.... I am going to LOVE it when he routinely sleeps through the night...... Which reminds me that my mom asked tonight if he was weaned yet. Nope, he's not ready, when he is, he will stop. Me? I can take it or leave it. He is my last child (heck we got one son that is old enough to make us grandparents!) so I don't want to push him cause it sure saves us money. But I will put an end to it if he is still nursing this time next year. It does feel weird that he is walking and nurses.

Later taters, I gotta get some sleep! 'Night.

Oh teenage girl years scare me. I have two girls 16 months apart. They are 1 and 2 now but I sure do think/worry about life 13 years from now!
