What Makes Good Children's Boutique Clothing?

When you are perusing the listings on ebay and artfire and etsy and such, what do you look for in boutique clothing for your child?

Are you looking for rock-bottom prices?

Are you looking for quality?

What you do consider to be quality?

Are you looking for out of the ordinary, or classic styles?

Do you shop boutique clothing stores online and off?

I was in an ebay group that I belong to and some things were said about boutique clothing that are found there nowadays and it got me to wondering...... what are people that buy boutique clothing really looking for?

Thanks ahead of time to anyone who answers these questions... :) It just may help me to become a better designer and shop owner!

Been busy?

It never fails. When I have tons of ideas in my head, things start to pile up and I don't get to do what I really want to do!

Here are a few things that I have done in the last week. In the process of making a e-book for the padded computer messenger bag that I made for my mom. Well, eleven of them to be exact!

Then there is the chef hats and an apron (will find this in my shop SOON, this was for a client that purchased a hat and wanted an apron to go with it! )

An outfit for a first birthday! I think it came out totally adorable! Her name means "little love" and her mom wanted pinks, browns and purple. I think this fits. I wanted to do Sew much more to it, but it took a while to get the material from the store. Go figure!

I also made a custom stocking with a famous head on it and a little girls name. I can't wait to hear from her mom what she thinks of it.

And I am still going strong! I even had to do a few sew outs for an online friend. Gotta get all this out of the way so that I can make Christmas gifts (a few Spirit Jumps too) and create for things to be added to the shops in the new year! I can't believe that it's almost the end of 2009. There has been good and bad, like any year.

Don't forget to look for this week's Spotlight On! Shana is giving away an item in her shop. Want to be my next Spotlight On recipient? Send me a message and I will let you know what all you need to do! It's REALLY easy :) Thanks for looking at these pictures and reading my antics. I will post more about the FUN that is had in this house!
